Entrepreneurs - Case Study
Working
with Enterprise Ayrshire, we have developed and run workshops for
individuals who are interested in setting up their own
businesses. The aim of the workshops was to help with the
development of an original and sound idea for a new business.
Using the processes and techniques which comprise the Mindworks
Approach, we ran one day workshops at which participants worked
together to think creatively and analytically about possible new
businesses.
The feedback from these events was very positive and we are developing
this aspect of our business in parallel with our work with larger
organisations.
Please contact us for a copy of an information sheet which provides more details about ways of exploiting the Mindworks Approach.
The Engineering Council - Case Study
Our
approach to team building involves developing new skills while
thinking about practical improvements to the team's work area.
We work hard to find new ways of helping people to think 'out of the box', recognising that creating the right environment is a very important aspect of this. A workshop for the Engineering Council involved a boat trip from Westminster to a Thames-side pub (with excellent conference facilities). Participants prepared for the event by learning the Mindworks Approach in their own time using an entertaining and relatively painless exercise included in our Mindworks Box thinking kit. We then worked on the boat, at the pub and on the return journey to develop ideas and follow-up action plans.
Mindworks have been helping organisations and individuals to learn and apply new ways of thinking for over 15 years. Based in the UK, our products and services have been used all over the world.
