What is Innovation?
Humans
have a unique ability to imagine different futures and to turn ideas
into reality. Innovation involves the generation and exploitation of
ideas. Turning a good idea into an innovation - a good idea implemented
- often requires hard work, careful thought and a creative approach to
implementation itself. While no method can guarantee that new
ideas will be generated, our experience of helping users of the
Mindworks Approach to think in new and different ways helps to create
an environment in which innovation can occur.
The Wright Brothers
Orville
and Wilbur Wright were outstanding innovators. Their
achievement
went far beyond the complex challenge of powered flight. They knew that
their idea not only had enormous commercial potential. They also
realised how aviation would change our lives.
Like many successful innovators, they were careful to learn from others and worked very hard - entirely in their spare time - to develop their ideas. And they came up with one, brilliant, world-beating idea. To find out what it was, click here.
There
shall be wings! If the accomplishment be not for me, 'tis for some
other.
